Scope
This policy applies to the Hoşkin mobile app, hoskin.app website, online game rooms, and support channels. Offline bot play may run on the device; account and online-table features require additional processing.
Data we process
Depending on the feature, we may process a Firebase user identifier and permitted profile details; display name, avatar, and settings; room membership, moves, bids, scores, and game results; app version, operating system, device language, connection and security logs; and support messages or attachments.
Purposes and legal bases
We use data for account and session management, server-authoritative games, matchmaking, game integrity, diagnostics, security, and support. Where applicable, the basis is contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligation, or consent. Optional analytics, crash reporting, notification, and advertising choices can be changed in app or device settings.
Service providers
Firebase and platform services may support authentication and optional product telemetry. If in-app payments are offered, Apple or Google processes them; we do not directly store payment-card details. Providers receive only the data needed to deliver the service, preserve security, or meet legal duties.
Game integrity and security
MySQL is the system of record for account, profile, and game records. The server is authoritative in online tables, and hidden opponent hands are not sent to players. We use access controls, transport encryption, logging, and incident response, although no internet system can guarantee absolute security.
Retention and international transfers
Data is retained while needed for its purpose, while an account remains active, or while security, dispute, and legal-record duties continue. After deletion, data is erased or anonymized except for required limited records. When infrastructure requires cross-border transfers, safeguards required by applicable law are used.
Your rights and children
Depending on location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, request portability, or withdraw consent. Hoşkin is not designed for people below the applicable minimum age, and parental permission is sought where required. Privacy requests can be sent to [email protected].
